Descendants of Heinrich Woolf

[The following is the ancestry of my great-great-great-great grandmother Margaret Drew Blackburn Bell, who was the daughter of Michael Drew and Elizabeth Woolf. Margaret Drew Blackburn Bell was the mother of Judge William Blackburn and my great-great-great grandmother, Mary Ann Blackburn]

1. HEINRICH1 WOOLF;; Surname also spelled as Woolfe Wolfe and Wolf; b. circa 1726 in Germany; m. Maria Margaretha circa 1756; d. 17 Nov 1800 in Frederick County, Maryland. MARIA MARGARETHA was born circa 1727. She died after 1800.
1     Wyand’s Naturalizations says Henry was from Hundsbach ad Rhinum in Germany. He was a member of the Hunting Creek Congregation.  Henry was naturalized Sept. 15, 1758.  (1.)
     Henrich Wolff and Maria Margaretha together sponsored the baptism of: Maria Margaretha Ahman b. May 3, 1768, bp. Sept. 15, 1768, dau. of Michael & Margaret Ahman. (2.) Johannes,  son of Jacob & Elis. Brandenberger b. March 4, 1788, bp. June 18, 1788 Sponsers: Henrich & Marg. Wolff (3.)  
     Heinrick Wolf and Margaretha took communion “at the Glade” on the first Sunday after Pentecost, June 14, 1767, & Oct. 30,1774, and Oct. 1775. (3.)  Lists of those persons who either wrote themselves their own names as members of this congregation, or who asked that their names be recorded as such, to be subject to Christian discipline and order, according to the resolution of the Reverend Coetus, which met on the 10th of May 1775 in Lebanon: pg. 170  No.77 Henrich Wolf, No. 95 Margaret Wolff.     Henry Wolfe’s will was written April 30,  1798 and proved Dec. 17, 1800 in Frederick Co., Md. His widow Margaret and their son Johan Peter were co-executors of his estate.. (1.)

                      i.    Catherine A.2; b. 1 Oct 1757 in Frederick County, Maryland; m. Elisha Griffith 4 Sep 1781 in Frederick County, Maryland.
     Catherine & Elisha moved to Fayette Co., Penn.
                      ii.    Johan Peter; b. 26 May 1758 in Frederick County, Maryland; m. Catherine (Zimmerman)Brunner 23 Jun 1780 in Frederick County, Maryland; d. 20 Jul 1817 in Frederick County, Maryland, at age 59.
                     iii.    Elizabeth; b. circa 1760 in Frederick Co., Maryland; m. Michael Drew 3 May 1781 in Frederick Co., Maryland.
     Elizabeth may have married #2 Jacob Roderick(Rothrock), Oct. 6, 1807, Frederick Co., Md. Jacob Roderick is on the 1810 census of Washington Co., Md. age over 45, with one female over 45.    Jacob Rothrock married Elisabeth Drew Oct. 6, 1807 at the Evangelical Reformed Church, Frederick, Frederick Co. Md.
                     iv.    Margaret; b. circa 1761 in Frederick County, Maryland; m. John Smith 14 Jan 1787 in Monocacy Church, Frederick County, Maryland.
                      v.    Johannes; b. circa 1763 in Frederick County, Maryland; m. Sarah Hyatt 13 Apr 1782 in Frederick County, Maryland.
                     vi.    Johan Heinrich; m. Elizabeth Heller Aug 25,1793 in Frederick Reformed Church, Frederick County, Maryland; b. circa 1765 in Frederick County, Maryland; christened 1765 in Frederick Reformed Church, Frederick County, Maryland.
     This family was living in Jefferson Co.(Berkeley),Va. in 1799, when their son Henry was born. A Henry Woolf is listed on the 1800 Berkeley Co. Tax List.
